Raukawa FM

We’re an Iwi Radio Station based in Tokoroa, South Waikato—also known as “Tok Town.” In 1990, Emare-Rose Nikora stepped out of Kohanga to help establish the Raukawa Trust Board and soon after launched Raukawa Radio. Te Reo Irirangi O Ngati Raukawa began broadcasting on October 23, 1990, driven by passionate people determined to create a station where the community could listen, learn, and contribute.
